Air Pressure Gauge
I have a hard time checking the air pressure on the Nomad using the old fashion stick air gauge. Big hands and cramped space.
Is there a better type of gauge to use. How do the ones with a flexible hose work?

I use a digital pressure gauge. It is a little tight on the front but okay on the rear. Never used one with a flexible tube.

Most any smaller gauge with or with out a hose should work fine. The ft wheel is easy, and on the back you may want to surn the stem 180 degrees.
You can do that by loosening the 2 lock nuts, and turning the valve with air in the tire. I suggest once you crack the top nut loose you snug the bottom on just for the feel. Just tighten the botton nut a part of a turn, what ever the wrench allows, just to learn the feel. Once you have, loosen the lock nut about 1 full turn. Some guys like to mark a flat on the nut, so then can count turns. Then simply spin the valve 180, and lock it back snug. The stem will be wiggely as well, and is now. You can't tighten the valve to the point it won't be wiggley, and or stop the nut from turning as a nomal tight. You will just raise hell trying, and ruin the valve if you try too. This set up is like 18 wheelers have.

I drive into the local shop and ask them to check my air pressure. It helps to bring donuts or cupcakes with you once in a while. :)

I've been using this monitor for 3 or 4 years now and I love not having to get down on the floor to check my pressures. It also will tell you the temperature of the tires too. You can also see the pressures (and temps) rise while the tire warms up from riding.

I have the same issue. I am going to have a 90 degree stem put on the front.

Bill I thought your front should have a 90 degree stem? I turned both mine, front and rear, sure helps being on the high side at least. I hated having to crawl under the left side bag and try to find the stem.
