Full Synthetic Oil

I finally did it and went synthetic and found the Rotella T 5W40 with a super tech filter. Drained the old oil through the drain plug but also the other plug with screen. Cleaned out a little debris in the screen. Had 1 metal shaving on the drain plug because I use rare earth magnets on drain plug and oil filter. Took it out for a drive and YES it does shift smoother(KawaGirl) which I love. Think I will like the new combo. Thanks

Good to hear. Good stuff....

Now just put some synth into your final drive (Pumpkin). It does help keep it a tad bit cooler. I had mine done at 2k. I have 12k now and still looks new like the day I put it in.

I started running the V-TWIN Mobil synthetic. It seems to be shifting a bit smoother now.

Full Synthetic Oil

I just bought some Golden Spectro 20w50 oil and somehow grabbed the synthetic blend. I figured they're be no difference in performance, but my transmission does shift harder and noisier than with full Syn.

I just hope this Rotella T syn holds up well and causes no problems with the clutch, any long term users out there with alot of miles with this oil?

Hey Trip...what is that Gold Cap Mobil you talk about? Is the only way to identify it by the cap? What weight do you use?
