Need a Motel In Maggie Valley!!!

Deb and I were in Maggie Valley all last week riding and just relaxing. We stayed at a nice little motel called the Sweet Briar Motel. It is clean and in the middle of the Valley. You can walk to several restaurants and shops from there. They are very Biker friendly. Their room rates for the Rally time would be $54.00 per night for a king, or 2 double beds or 1 queen bed. Just wanted to let everyone know that would like to come but maybe can't find a room in June. They have plenty rooms available.

Ask for Charles or Charlie and tell them you are with the Nomad Rally to get the better pricing. We stayed there 5 days and the owners were great. They went out of their way to make sure we had a nice stay.

With the storms rolling through last week it changed my mind to not want to camp. So we booked rooms here at Sweet Briar Inn. Queen size bed room for $49.00 weekday and $69.00 on weekend. Also told me they had just finished a new group party room. They are about 2 1/2 miles from Maggie Valley Inn. They have plenty of rooms available if anyone still needs room. call 828-926-9855.

Looks good to me seeing as how through procrastination and other factors I<s> still havent </s> have only just now made a reservation yet for the rally. If it werent for the last minute, nothing would get done.

Also spoke with Derrick at ApplecoverInn today, he said they have plenty of room there but if anyone is interested they should go ahead and make arrangements by next week. There is some other events going on the same week as National rally and they are expecting them to fill up quick. Called Derrick today to see what all he has still available he told me to call him back tomorrow.

???OOPS!, forgot to call Derrick back, however I did just get off the phone with him, he does still have 4 or maybe 5 rooms available, but most of them are smoking if anyone is interested???

I just got off the phone with the Maggie Valley Inn and canceled my king size room for 4 nights. So if someone acts quick, you may be able to get my room.

I'll await their call then. I was told a week or so ago that I was the only one on the waiting list for such a room.
