To my knowledge, Jimmy Carter is the only other U.S. President to be awarded the Nobel Peach Prize.

I guess that you have to be a piss poor President to be considered. In that case, Obama probably deserves it.

I suppose the necessary qualifications for winning a NPP is to be a complete dumba$$ as Carter and Gore are or to do or not do whatever it is Obama has done or not done??? I think it has become just another entitlement award for "Dudley Do Nothings".

The idiot judges said they awarded it to B.O. (not Body Odor), because of the promises he made for the future. Well, then, that should go to all the Democratic presidents we ever had. Nobody can out-promise 'em.....Don't get me started. Jamie (proudly from a red state).

It has been said that "it is impossible to embarrass a man who has no conscience". It would not fit the profile for a narcissist to be embarrassed to receive laurels regardless of how undeserving he is. This absolutely cheapens the prestige of the award for those who received it for actual works that bettered the world.
My observation is that this is another example of the power of whoever has their arm up the a$$ of the muppet; to nominate him immediately upon inauguration and then get him selected.
Scarey, and going to get worse before it is over.

Obama hasn't done anything yet, and certainaly hadn't done anything in 11 or 12 days.
