exhaust flange cap nits
Does anyone know the size of the chrome acorn flange nuts on a 1700 exhaust flange on a vaquero. Dealer wants $6.00 a nut. Thanks in advance. Parts list doesn't show size.

Likely 8mm diameter but you would have to find out the pitch.
I think for an 8mm bolt its 1.25 mm for a regular thread and 1.00 mm for fine thread. My guess is that 1.25mm is what you need. |

Thanks for the reply Redjay. Wanted to get them prior to removal as I won't be doing them until snow leaves. Dealer says he doesn't know the size as they haven't replaced any.

I found this https://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts...5351#sch797065 https://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts...351&sch=797065 It's 8mm but doesn't give the pitch. My guess is 1.25mm too. It's not a fine thread from what I remember. |

Most part stores have a studded board by there screw/nut section. Try the nut on it for size/pitch.
