Will this ever end.

I can't believe this. A friend and mentor passed away yesterday. This makes 6 family and friends in the last 6+ months. Dale passed away from pancreatic cancer. He beat the odds as when he was diagnoised they gave him about 12 months, he made it close to 30 months and actually had a pretty good life upto the last couple of months.

I have known Dale for 20 years and to say the least, he was one of the best in our industry. I can't tell you how many awards he has been recognized with over the years and how many people he has influenced over the years.

Funny thing was about 10 years ago we were on the road and talking about growing up (he is about 30 years older than I am) and come to find out, our home towns were about 25 miles apart from each other.

RIP Dale and prayers to your wife and family.

very sorry to hear this waterman. I've been bit by the dying issues with friends and family a few years ago. It seems to come all at once.

I am so sorry for your loss Joel. It does seem to come in bunches when it comes. I know I've been to way too many family funerals over the last few years.

Don't know what to say other than sorry to hear about your loss. No words I can come up with can help -- only time will do so.

Darn Joel, missed this one for a couple days. So sorry that you need to endure yet another. One hell of a ride building there. I should be headed that direction one of these warmer days.

Thanks everyone. Wanted to go to this funeral in Fort Collins but they aren't having it until Tuesday and I will be on the road again. I know of quite a few people who will miss this because we will all be at the same meeting.

Ells, once I get my tire repair kit and fix the nail, come on out and we will take a trip somewhere.
