My '11 Blaquero

I live right down the street from the "worlds largest basket." It's the corporate headquarters for the now fledgling Longaberger Basket Company. My dad was an accountant for the company when i was a kid. Anyway, I listed most of my mods and extras below. My grips don't arrive until tomorrow and I will be adding a windshield to this list very directly once I finally make my mind up between a medium Clearview with recurve or a 16" Rifle.

Vance & Hines Slash Cut Dual Exhaust
Venturi Air Cleaner with K&N Filter
Quick Detach Sissy Bar
Power Commander V
Auxiliary Driving Lights
Chrome Dash Cover
Black Kuryakyn Grips with Ray's Mod
Kuryakyn 3 Pocket Window Bag

Used to be a young lady around here that sold those baskets, she made a lot of money.
We have a large supply of them.
Seen the big basket in the literature.

My dad was friends with the original owner Dave, he had a really nice house in Dresden that I was able to visit a few times when I was younger. My mom lived in Dresden for a few years right down the road from a big handmade basket that they used to have there next to their restaurant. I always wondered how a company could survive selling baskets but they had a pretty good run. Once the downturn in the economy hit they really got nailed however.

It's a Roland Sands Design Venturi Intake. That's all I can tell you about it other than I like it. It came on the bike .

Nice bike! Are the Vaqueros as trouble free and dependable as the Nomads? Just curious for when I start looking around in a couple of years...

Well I've only had it for about 1000 miles. Outside of the lurching I get at slow speeds I haven't had any issues. I really enjoy the bike. As a big guy it fits me really well.

Sorry to hijack, but with the Vaquero in mind for my next bike...
Anyone here with a GiPro with TRE installed on a Vaquero? I had a Suzuki m90 and it was the only thing that got rid of the damn lurching!

RACNRAY's throttle mod is the way to go. I just installed it yesterday and the lurching is pretty much gone. It's like a whole new bike.

I got to ride one of these yesterday. I was back and forth on what my next bike should be and that test ride solved it. Beautiful bike!
