I put some Mutazu HL hardbags on my 'o5 1600 Classic. Their not top drawer quality but mine are about 4 years old now with no real issues and they are affordable. They look pretty darn good mounted on the Vulcan 1600 too.

The actual bags are the same on the 1500 and 1600 models.

But do NOT buy 1500 mounting brackets and try to use them on a 1600, unless you enjoy frustration.

Check out Sam's complete set-up off a 1600.

That will bolt up directly to your classic.

The brackets will cost more than the bags if you aren't very careful.

Thank you. I sent Sam a message, but haven't heard from him yet.

Guy responded but he won't ship. No matter how much I offered, within reason.

What state are you in? maybe ride to his state and pick them up.
$500 for the complete set up is a real good price.
