I lost my best friend Tuesday, went to the funeral yesterday we have been friends for 47 years I miss him already but I know he is in a better place. Good by Jerry

Really hate hearing this Jim. Words can never convey enough to help a person through a sad time. Wish there were more I could say to help your feelings. I have lost several close friends through the years. Some have been gone 40 years and I still think about them and the hurt is always near.

Net stole my thoughts Oldbikers. :) I just went last week to visit a friend of mine that I've known for nearly 40 years. We're so close people mistake us for brothers. Like Net said it's hard to find somebody like that and just want to be around them all the time. I hate the thought of one day one of us is going to have to go though what your going through.

I pray that the Lord will ease you through this loss of your friend, and one day a long time from now you see him again.

I too lost my best friend 10/22/10 to melanoma. I've known him for 40 years and he lived next door to me. Was part of my life everyday.... I know what your going through OB. It's going to be lonely and very tough.. :-[
