Almost new Vulcan 500 Ltd for sale
I bought my wife a new 2009 Vulcan 500 Ltd in 2011, hoping that she would ride with me, but that has not materialized. Bike is like new with less than 200 miles on it and she asked me to sell it for her. Has Kawasaki windshield and topcase for full size helmet on the back. It is on eBay right now:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2009-...ht_1024wt_1020 For a new rider, this bike is way better than a Honda Rebel, and with 6-speeds, it can keep up with the larger bikes (why I bought it).

Nice looking bike. I bought a Suzuki S40 for my daughter 2 years ago. She still has not ridden it.

I also got one for my wife to see if she would graduate from a scooter to a motorcycle but she just never got comfortable with gears, higher speeds, etc. She is back at the 300 cc scoot level. I recommend the Vulcan 500 for a first time rider. Its easy to handle and pulls its own weight at good highway speed. Good luck with the sale.

That think just looks like a lot of fun. Leave the Nomad at home for a couple hours and just go rip up the back roads! Good luck with her...

A friend of mine had a Vulcan 500 for two years traded up to a Vulcan 800 and three years later traded up to a '00 Vulcan 1500 Classic. He loved all three of them, I rode all of them and they were all great fun.

Just completed the sale of my girlfriend's VN500 last month...that didn't pan out either. Fun little bike that hauls ass! The 6 speed is great...I rode it more than she did and it did great on the highway. Keep in mind I am 6'4" 220#
Good luck with sale; great bike

They aren't V-Twins but had the Vulcan style. Check this out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kawasaki_Vulcan

It seems a lot of women who get bikes end up not riding them, my neighbour did that as well. Bought a bike, dropped it in the driveway while sitting on it, and never rode it.

Boy if you were closer and bike plates were not so expensive here, I would be interested as an around town bike. Good luck, she looks great.
