Couple of Rides in December

Here are a couple rides in December, for those hardy SE members:

1. Eldridge Childrens Home Benefit Ride, December 6, Eldridge, AL. This is going to be the 11th annual ride to benefit ECH. They raise a substantial amount of the yearly budget through this ride in event. If the weather is good, I have seen over 1000 bikes in attendance.

2. New Year's Eve at Coney Island Hot Dog Stand in Brooksville, FL. Come out for the last ride to eat of the year. We meet around 11:00 AM for some stories and get a dog and then hit the road. We usually have around 30-50 bikes.

3. Stockton, AL RTE at Stagecoach. This is the official last ride of the year on December 30 in Stockton, AL. You can come for breakfast or lunch with about 500-700 of your closest friends. We usually have some VBA folk there, I have talked to and passed Derry and his crew from the FL panhandle the last couple years. It is a fun time with all types of bikes and characters.

Dick, I so want to get away on a ride somewhere but I don't even know if I'm going to make but one of the ones I have listed. The Jake Tax is killing me but thank God he is done with school...hopefully, in December unless he is on the Kawhead plan...in which case he'll be in for another 6 years.

We missed getting up to the mountains this year. Hoping that once the wedding is over in June, we will be able to get away some.

THE JAKE TAX!!!Jakes gonna sign up for another 6 year tour at home eating Mama's cooking? Reckon that puts me out again.

Does Tammy know you getting married again? Or are you gonna wait and break the news after the wedding? I suggest being in Nevada and break the news over the phone. You gonna die, but it'll take her a while for her to find you.

I liike the the plan my parents used to get me out of the house which was to make life so unbearably horrible and oppressing that I ran the hell out of there and dared never went back. Buncha damn lunatic a$$holes!

I ask you, "Where is the love?"

Or is this where the love kicks in and the money goes bye-bye?

Made it to ECH this past weekend. 1200 miles in two days and at least that many smiles. The ECH benefit ride in made $77K for the children's home.

Next up is Stagecoach RTE.

Yeah and I cain't believe we ain't gonna get gifts from him again this year.

Don't bum money from him either. He screams shocking blue words this sailor/painter/mechanic never heard before in his LIFE that I refuse to repeat!

I took it as a NO!

Mixed in with stuff about college and cars tearing up!
