Rainy day = bike modification day!

Today I was able to put on all the parts I bought over the last month or so. Took off the gas tank, installed a Dobeck TFI plug & play, removed the reed valves (coasters from Baron's) and installed a Caddman (right side only) using a K&N kit. I decided to leave the solenoids in place as the weather here is more often on the cooler side and ran a couple of lengths of 5/16" tubing from them into the cross-over tunnel over into the original air filter, no clicking sound (thanks to Gadget's site).
Now....if the rain would only stop.....

Nice mods gary. You will like that TFI, I so do. I was reading about that solenoid muffler thingy on gadgets just today. I have mine un-hooked so didnt need it but interesting.

Hard to believe but it does away with "clicking" sounds they make. There's times I wish I lived in a warmer climate, but most times I'm glad I live where I do! No crime, few bugs, no snakes, skunks or racoons. Just gotta watch out for them Swamp Donkeys (moose)!
Looking forward to seeing how these mods work with the Dual Baggers I put on a couple months ago.

Gary, Do you think you are colder than in NH? In summer time? I think I am just about the same as Yarmouth, but thats a ways off to your south too.

Anyway you can pull a wire per ISC and test the idea. Mine are in a cardboard box and have been since i got the 06. The ones for my 01 are in Cal

Ih yeah, Get crash bars covers. The kind I have carry the brand name Desert Dawgs.. These keep me dry from the knee down pretty good so long as i can stay moving.

I get a little wet, but not like other riders, who querriy me me when they are soaked and i am not and not in any rain gear...

Mac, I know we are colder here...even the mosquitos wear fur coats (seal fur of course!)
