Nice Ride in MA

I had a PGR event in Leominster MA on Saturday, so I decided to extend the trip. Left Hingham MA and headed out for a loop around the Quabbin Reservoir. Nice roads 122N from Paxton, 202S along the western side of the reservoir, and 62E through Sterling, Clinton, Stow ect... very little traffic to speak of, very relaxing.

I've been wanting to do the Quabbin loop this year but haven't had time. I may get out there this upcoming Saturday if the weather permits and nothing is going on at home.

Enjoy, if you get to go.

Just a heads up, temps are a bit cooler out that way and you are in the shade a good part of the time. Not a problem if you are prepared. Lows are supposed to be in the thirties later this week.

I was out that way over the weekend riding down in Woodstock, CT.

Hopefully I'll get one more ride in. Did you stop at any restaurants on the loop?

This would be about 270 miles and around 6-7 hours. Will see what the weekend brings. The weather people are usually wrong.

Only restaurant I hit was Elvis's Hot Dogs, not too bad.

With ya on that, learned sometime ago never to trust the forecast. Prepare for all possibilities especially on longer rides, it is New England....
