I figured when they decided not to go to the Grand Jury that he would be charged. It's the only thing they could do to prevent mob rule. Now it will be the court and jury's problem. While I do not agree with the "Stand Your Ground" law as it is written if it's the law and there is a reasonable doughy then he will be found Innocent.

Tough call all around. I do feel people have a right to defend themselves but killing someone must be a last resort with no other option for retreat!

It is required by law that one must go to a grand jury if M1 is being charged. I thought the riot would begin when that got out but mobs are stupid...

The stand your ground law says that if you are in a place where you may lawfully be, you have no duty to retreat if threatened. So if someone breaks into your home, the burglars has no lawful right to be there, but you do. Therefore you have no duty to retreat. It's a similar law to the castle doctrine, except it applies to other than just your property.

Reasonable doubt may by law require an aquittal...and if/when that happens, there will be rioting the likes of which we have not seen in a long time. Funny...I don't recall any riots when OJ walked....and he WAS guilty. Just sayin'...

we're ready in my neighborhood. you know why during the Rodney King trial my neighborhood wasnt touched? the word on the street was if you went outside your neighborhood to riot or start fires we we're sitting outside armed and ready for war! the police wern't going to intervein during vigilante duck season. they knew we were waiting for them.
