Rally Itinerary

Nobody is obligated to take part in any or all rides that will be planned. You are free to "do your own thing" at any time. We hope to see everyone at the end of your day over a beverage of your choice and then at the windup dinner that will be held on the last day, July 19th.

Tuesday July 17th- Our first ride will be from Canmore, AB to Radium Hot Springs, BC. This ride will take us through beautiful Kootenay National Park. We will lunch in Radium Hot Springs, then return via the same route. Approximate ride time is about 4 hours round trip not including stops.

Wednesday July 18th- This will be a free day to wander around town, see some sites, or take your own ride, maybe to Lake Louise and back. The more adventurous riders could take a very long ride to Jasper, AB through Jasper National Park along the famed Icefields Parkway. Keep in mind it is roughly 8 hours ride time round trip not including stops! It is a breathtaking route and very well worth it if you have never done it, but a long day in the saddle if you choose to make the run.

Rally Dinner - Our Rally Dinner and Charity Fundraiser will be held at the Iron Goat Pub and Grill in Canmore. They will have a section set aside for our group. We will be ordering seperately off of the menu to allow everyone a better choice of options. You can check them out at this link... Iron Goat.

This years charity will be the Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue of Canmore. We will be selling raffle tickets for some great vendor donated prizes and ALL of the proceeds will be donated to the Animal Rescue on behalf of the VBA.

Thursday July19th- This ride will be a long loop out through prairie country down to Longview, AB, where we will do lunch before heading back toward Canmore through the Rockies via the Kananaskis Trail. Riding the mountains in the afternoon will allow for warmer temps than we might find in the morning hours. Approximate ride time is just over 4 hours not including stops.
