I would love to have one but at that price I don't see one in my immediate future. I thought $200 was a lot for the FI2000R that I have to tune myself.

Can't see on our bikes how that would work? You need input from several sensors to make a system like that perform as they indicate. An O2 sensor that Nomad's don't have (OK the one I have doesn't) MAP sensor, air temp sensor (ok got one..) TPS sensor, I know I'm missing one or two as well. Now it may work fine on a new bike with all those sensors but how can it determine all that for every twist of the grip without that info? My guess is it's not meant for these bikes but for the new 09 up models. Still if it does as stated some may find a benefit. But for the price it better save you 20% on your fuel costs or it's just a fancy toy. May work good? have to see some that bite the bullet and buy one and report on it's effectiveness.

It would be nice if it was as tunable as they say on the Nomads. I think there would be quite a bit involved setting it up for every gear and condition. Im sure a few test runs would be required to make it work right. More than likely its meant for the sport bikes to give them the edge.

You may be quite correct on that one. It would be an advantage for the super sport series bikes that have a lot of small independent road racers who don't have the access to the advanced diagnostic and fuel mapping equipment the big dogs have. But again without sensor input it can't guess the right settings ::)
