LED housing help
Ok, so here's what I need help with. I'm a volunteer EMT and I'm adding flashers to my Nomad. I got 4 of those strobes that go in the headlight housings on cars and 4 little 2 1/2" black bullet lights that I can put those strobes in and effectively hide the light housing until the strobes come on (I'll have plenty of pictures during/after when I do this project)
But here's what I can't find. I want to do LEDs along the bottom of both hardbags. I was thinking of trying to find a black rubber strip thats the length of the bags and maybe just 1" high and tall and then drill holes for the leds and make a channel along the back for all the leads to sit in. Maybe you guys have some better ideas. I just want something cheap (so I'm not afraid to make something) that runs the length of the bags, and I have a black Nomad, so I'd like it to be black to blend in when not in use

LED housing help
MC88, I had some LED lights on my car, I am a EMT and a vol FD. they were about ine inch tall and 3 inches wide and 3/8 inch thick. got them from Show-me lighting. they were about $100 dollars for the set and that included the flasher module. they should work great.

Check out Custom Dynamics website... www.customdynamics.com
They have all kinds of LED lights that would be of use for you.

LED housing help
Well I already have the flasher unit, and all the leds will cost no more than $30 for 20 blue and 20 white (10 white and 10 blue go on each side, this was teh price on the first site I looked at) So if I can find some cheap trim or something that works for like $10 - $15, I'll be a long ways for less than $50. Plus then I can space them out to take up the entire length along the bottom of the bag which is the look I want (I think, might change my mind when I see it)
Now, I'm not Dutch, but my wife is and I've lived in a Dutch community for like 18 years now, so it has def rubbed off some! Haha
