33,000 miles ago...
I forgot to mention this milestone when it occurred last week - probably because I was out of town and had other things to think about - but on September 30, 2007 I bought my Nomad. 33,000 miles later it's still going strong, having undergone a long series of cosmetic and practical changes:
Mustang studded touring seat (3-piece) Cobra True Duals w/billet tips Stebel horn Dual K&N 7" air cleaners Kuryakyn iso grips and foot pegs Custom accessory wiring with 2 fuse blocks CWI billet mount driving lights Optronics 2" driving lights ShowChrome dual handlebar accessory switch Audiovox CCS100 electronic cruise control Scootworks Supertrunk III w/custom LED lighting JC Whitney tourpack luggage rack Wompus rack F&S water pump cover F&S lower saddlebag rails Chucksters Customs trailer hitch Chucksters Customs 7" air cleaner backing plates (2) Chucksters Customs larger lower wind deflectors 2 Ram mounts (1 for MP3, 1 for GPS) 12v bar mounted accessory plug Chilhowee leather tank bib (buffalo hide) MCI front fender rail Dunlop SP5000 195/60/16 car tire Cobra FI2000R fuel processor

I wish I would have been able to meet you and take a look at your beautiful machine while I was in Phoenix. Congrats on the milestone. I'm sure you've got many many more miles to go.

You've got a lot of nice mods, Scott. I hope to have mine "tricked out" like you do someday, but I have a long way to go. Congratulations on the milestone. You have a very nice machine that is serving you well.
