Something new for the Nomad

Something I've wanted for a while is a bra and or bib for the Nomad.
I have been looking for something a little different though. I finally decided to design my own and then found someone that would make it for me. I'm not sure exactly how I found this person but most likely just surfing the web for motorcycle leather products. Any way maybe some of you might have heard of "Frank's Leather Products". Frank was really helpful and patient with me while I explained what I wanted. Today everything came together and the finished product was delivered to my frt. door.

The bib/bra was just out of the box and only on the bike for about 15 minutes when these photo's were taken. So it hasn't yet formed to all the contours of the tank. The leather is of top quality with a felt backing. I know we have Cycle Cat making and selling some real fine products here. I've seen her work and it's top notch, first class. But after talking with Frank and having him offer to make my own design I was excited to work with him. Give him a look and be sure to inquire on some of your own .....needs ;)

That looks pretty damn cool! I really like the gas opening protector! That would eliminate the need for me to grab the rag out of my saddlebag to put around the gas hole (he he he).

Rick that looks great! And it is appealing in a way I have not quite figured out yet. Nice design dude. Terrific execution.

looks like something a lot of people on here would be interested in. Have you considered having your guy make several more to sell?

Rickyboy, were you reading my mind or what. About a month ago I was thinking of the same design without the gas filler ring. Nice touch.
I believe I will have to have me one of those.

Nice Rick. My brother is working with Frank to have a similar design made for his VTX 1800.

Well didn't we determine in another thread that our rides are she and not he?

Nice Rick, I especially like how it protects the gas cap area.

Rick...how much did Frank charge you?
Would he be willing to make others?

Hmm... I'm thinking you might like ladies in leather Halter Tops :)

I think that anything that could be chrome or shiny paint always looks better than leather.
