Many of you know I recently added a fairing and a different trunk to the Nomad. Well of course the old cover I had and used before these mods, no longer fits. There are those of you on here, who have done the same changes. If you cover your bike, could you tell me what cover WILL ! fit ??? I'm wondering about the antennas too. They don't lay down. so I need one that will be big enough to cover them and still reach as far as the pipes. I suppose I might be able to pop a couple of holes in,... for them.

I have one of the large blue & silver nylon covers, It was the largest one made, and fits well. Ive seen them at Princess Auto for a good price. Ebay has some for about $20.00 as well.
I fold my antenna over and tuck in into the strap on the rear seat. I didn't want to punch a hole for the antenna.

I have a DOWCO Guardian Ultralight in size L that does fit my bike with the fairing and tourpak. I hadn't tried it with the new configuration until Cortez, but it fits fine.

Edit: I remove my AM/FM antenna before covering the bike.

How about just a normal tarp?

Pick one up at Lowe's for about $8-$10. Then just strap it down.

Yeah they work just like 600 grit wet dry paper, only difference is ya need rain for the wet effect.

Mine is a Dowco XL but I did put small holes for the antennas and then used tarp grommets to seal the holes. That actually helps to get the cover on straight.

Hey Rick,

Those antennas will fold right over, and you can tuck them under the spoiler....that is how I covered it and never had an issue with them.
