Id definately by the Premeux again, Its the best one out there in my opinion, also probably the costliest as well. It a high quality fairing and comes painted two tone to your bikes color, ready to install right out of the box, fit and finish are top notch. Stereo and speakers are also available.

I'm very pleased with the end result, but I bought the cheapest one I could find on ebay which was set up for HD, then spent many hours modifying the brackets to fit the Nomad, getting it painted, and then all wired and mounted. Only had about $500 in money invested, but spent way too many hours cussing:) Now that it is all said and done, I love the fairing, but would spend the exrta and get one of the "ready made" versions. I think many hear are pleased with the "reckless" version.
Pro's: Music, cool look, mostly the music and the look.
Con's: None so far after I got it on the bike.
Not sure if it will offer better cold weather riding protection, uit that could be another plus.

I'd definitely recommend a fairing. Mine's a Premeux. As Ring said, it's expensive, but it's also top quality. It comes painted and ready to go, and installs with four bolts. It's basically a quick-attach setup. I can definitely tell a difference with the bike cutting through the wind, and we have a lot of that in ND.

I also have the Premeux, came with the bike and I love it. Just needs a radio and I'll be all set. Makes the bike as far as I'm concerned...

Very pleased with my Memphis Shades fairing .Reasonably priced and was all I needed .Did not want to remove my risers and my stereo that I already had on the bike was fine .Quick release so I can remove it in less than a minute.

I picked up a used Premeux fairing late in the spring and absolutely love it. The only negative I have found is that on a really stinking hot day I don't get any wind on my chest, but plan to fix that this winter and add a vent to the windshield like on a goldwing. I was worried the handling would be affected by the fairing, but haven't noticed any difference. Would I buy one again? Other than my dirt bike, any bike I own will have a fairing from now on! Great wind protection, love having tunes on the bike and most importantly .... the bike looks great with it mounted

I installed a Reckless fairing on my 2007 back in May. My only regret is not having done it sooner. I have about $1000 invested in mine, and that includes:

Fairing
Professional paint job
Sound system (Dual XHD7714 head unit + 2 Rockford Fosgate 6.5" Punch speakers)
Aftermarket 8" tinted shield
Chrome windshield trim
HD tourpak mount AM/FM antenna kit
4 rocker switches (used to control driving lights, etc.)
Miscellaneous wiring odds and ends

You can buy a ready to go fairing from various vendors, but you'd be hard pressed to get a setup like I have for what I spent. I don't mind doing my own wiring and stuff. I rode 386 miles today from Chandler AZ to Kanab UT and had tunes the entire way. When FM reception was lost, I used my 8GB USB drive to supply the music.

I have the reckless and hope I never have to ride without a fairing again.
