If you had one other bike....

One of the reasons I don't have anything fast anymore is because I can't afford the tickets and my reaction time isn't what is once was. I love the Nomad, it gives a thrill without the kill.

Like a few others, I already have it. 2000 Drifter 800. Going to put a bobber spring seat on it in a few weeks to further the retro look instead of that two-up boogie board they used for a seat. It's my solo bike. The only other I'd like is a WWII Army HD WLA.

Actually, I forgot about this bike:

this is very doable, although finding one that hasn't been trashed or enerized might be a challenge. reminds me of my old KZ.

Ross, great thread...
As announced some time back, I sold my Nomad because I am too frail at age 74 to handle it in slow going...

My "other" bike is now the third generation Honda Magna V4....it is a power cruiser and runs as smoothly as can be....very powerful, yet it is tame when I want it to be...It seems that I can ride "forever" with no discomfort....

I feel it is a spectacular bike.

All regards,

If money was not considered, my other bike would be an Indian Chief Vintage.

Yeah, but it's 30-40K for a bike with an Evo engine. I have to say I haven't seen one on the road.

I would love to have my Yamaha Road Star Warrior again. My wife and I have talked about getting one just to have a third bike. Her FJR is fun to ride, but I love that 1700 motor in the Warrior frame. I may trade to the Raider though.

Anyone riding at that age should get a medal and treated to lunch! I'll buy lunch.

The KTM is a great bike. Might still want the GSA, but I wouldn't do poorly with either.
