Glenn,
I see from your map it is about the same distance for you to the National Rally and/or the Rally in the Redwoods. Are you doing one, both, or neither.....?? Just curious....

Nomad and Voyager Question

I too was faced with a big debate about spending a bunch of money on the Premeux trunk or something else, like a Scootworks.

By the time I had the trunk painted in two colors, pinstriped, drilled and cut holes for some marker lights, added a stiffener plate for the hinges, replaced a lock that broke while on a trip, bought the Wompus rack (very good rack, by the way) I hadn't saved a whole lot of money, and I darn sure didn't save any time.

There's a hundred different ways to go about the Trunk Accessory Project, but I don't think it can get much more straight-forward (albeit expensive) than the Premeux.

Kris,
We'll be going to the national. Already had plans before yours came up. I'm trying to make sure I have enough vacation left to do the Margaritaville ride the following April, so I don't think we'll be able to do both next summer. Look forward to meeting some of the East coasters this following year, and hopefully more of the west coasters in 2012.

Merry Christmas.
