Please Help!!!

Hopefully that is it and no more issues. But I can't help wondering 4 plugs fail at the same time, bizarre. I'm sure it must of been a p*ss off , waiting all winter to try your new bike and get this as a reward. Good luck Steammarc and keep us informed of the outcome.

I for one will be shocked if spark plugs were your only problem. If your bottom end was fouled with fuel and your pipes and mufflers "blued" by the fire in your exhaust there's more that needs to be done than replaceing your plugs! Make the dealer take the bike, run a leak down test, replace the oil and filter. They can replace the exhaust system as your catalists are ruined inside and your chrome will never be the same after removing the blue" on the outside!

Thats a simple fix, defective plugs can cause all kinds of wierd stuff to happen.

Re: 4 plugs on Nomad (CNC) Looking through the spec sheet for the 2010, there is only one plug per cylinder. So this would increase the likelihood that a faulty plug is at hand. (The bike WAS sluggish while riding, but seemed OK at idle). I'm buying a spark plug tester tomorrow and will confirm or disprove that theory. In any case, an oil change and exhaust pipe chrome cleaning is in store for this baby.

Would have thought the 1700 would have four plugs, two per cylinder. I haven't looked closely but at the new models but can't understand why they would change the entire firing of the engine.

I kain't understand why they wouldn't add two more plugs and make it three per cylinder.

The air shocks wouldn't be able to stay balanced.

Maybe a stupid comment.

But is it possible, that you filled up with diesel instead of petrol?

Just some thoughts!

Succes!

that would be almost impossible, Diesel nozzles are wider and will not fit in filler holes of most gas engines...
