Let me see, if I bought a Harley what would I add on?
I'm thinkin' an extended warranty and a road side service program for starters. ;)

I think they come with roadside assistance. My BMW did, for the period of the warranty, which is 3 years.

And that's what I did. 6 years of warranty (you can go up to 12) and it comes with roadside assistance for flat tires. If I have a flat, they will tow me up to 100 miles, repair or replace the tire as necessary. It even covers lodging, meals and bike rental if on a trip. It also covers the wheels, so if I hit a pothole and blow a tire and bend a rim, I'm covered.

I also have AMA's roadside assistance plan.

What to add to a bike that has everything? I've got some Kuryakyn longhorn duallies coming and am still considering a driver backrest.

Oh, there's plenty to add to that bike Scott...just ask my brother-in-law who has the same bike as you. I told him he's become a chromeaholic...lol. He has an accessory catalog from Harley that must be 2" thick. ;)

Mine is a reimbursement plan that covers up to $500 a day. They even have concierge service with it to arrange room and board, car rentals and flights if necessary. They will cover some things directly though, like gas and I think flats. I also have it through my insurance.

I guess having a HD or Beemer one would want all that roadside assistance

Let me make sure I'm getting this right: Part of the excitement, the bragging rights, of buying a Harley or BMW is that they have services in place to deal with all the breakdowns you will have? ::) ::) ::)

Now that 's a strong selling point! Poor schmucks who buy Kawasakis and Hondas just get reliable bikes. ;)

You can get flat tires on a Kawasaki, too. It has nothing to do with reliability. Only a fool would travel cross country on ANY bike without some emergency assistance plans in place, I don't care what they're riding.

My Harley came pre-wired with a battery tender connection. Should we assume that it has a weak charging system?
