Welcome from the First State!

I made the same move you did from the C50. Great bike for the back roads, but the Nomad is just so much nicer on the highway. I'm also on the VR site, with the same screen name.

You can get the 411 on the Antlers Extraveganza in the South Central if you havent already found it. Look forward to meeting you in person.

Lots of us here came from the VR site. Nomad is waaay more machine than the 800cc Suzi.
Welcome. Enjoy the Nomad. It takes a while to get used to the extra weight of the Nomad but it is well worth it.

SloMo, I fond the Nomad to be difficult at low speeds. I recently replaced the rear tire with a Good Year Triple Tread (GYTT) car tire and it made the bike behave much better at low speeds ;) Something to think about when you get to that point :)
