Leather Riding Pants suggestions

Considering some form of Leather Riding Pants. What's better? I've seen full pull over pants that zip full length up legs (can be removed like chaps) while wearing jeans underneath..or leather pants only, (hip, knee, thigh..pads). Do you wear some type of thin
"long johns" with them. P.S. Reasonable price, Brand/ good source where to buy..thanks
It's a cruiser..not a sport bike.

I'm in favor of overpants like these http://www.foxcreekleather.com/251-m...ther-overpants

I actually saw Fox Creek's leather jackets in person, they are of good quality.

Ive got a pair of leather jean style pants that I wear, They work really well on the cooler days, but get a little warm on the hotter days. They look like leather blue jeans in the cut and style.

If you're going to wear jeans or something under them, why not just wear chaps?

Because chaps expose certain body parts and one gets cold when riding in higher elevations or generally in cold weather conditions.

I wear full leather pants over my jeans. Some times when it is hot I will wear just crash pads under the leathers or on rare occasion the crash pads under just jeans.
I buy most everything from Screaming Eagle here in Montreal. It is top quality stuff.

That's kind of what I was thinking... But then again, wearing chaps could qualify for that too.

You just convinced me to stick with chaps, drug through dirt and bushes to look as rugged as possible.

When I said that I spoke from experience, cause that is exactly what my wife thought.
I was trying on chaps one day at Screaming Eagle and the sales girl was adjusting the hem to my boot hight. My wife turned around from looking at stuff for her self and burst out laughing. No way I'm getting back on the bike with that get up she said. Try some real pants on or I'm walking home.
So I have preferred pants ever since.

Aw Kris, maybe you need a group hug and a song, put you ass-less pants on and sing YMCA in the mirror, I bet you feel better.
