Maybe Clint should run for president. He'd get that steely-eyed expression and say to Iran "go ahead, make my day". Good speech, Mr. Eastwood!

I believe silverbach is retired Navy.

I like it here because we are all equal.

This is a free forum, and we all can say as we wish, as long as we don't offend,
or do any name calling.

Unless when joking with someone who can take a joke.

I don't agree with everyone about everything, but that's because I was brought
up in a home in Barre, Vermont, by catholic, racists, union members, democrat
parents who believed using a broom across the back was better then a slap on
the ass, for discipline.
I've had personal problems with the order of things my whole life as a result, I
don't see the world or events that happen daily the same way as others. That's
why I don't usually say much until I have thought them through.

And even then I have managed to offend someone.

Please think, before you post. JMO

Typical loser! Obsessed with the idea that the only way to have any thing is for somebody else to work for it, have government bureaucrats pilfer through it and give you enough to subsist. Maybe picks up a job here and there and then bitch about the wages, and worry the hell out of the people he works around. If "Tickle Down" economics was explained to you you still wouldn't understand it!

Look you frickin looser! Most likely you were raised by losers just like you is the reason you offhandedly mentioned the brilliance of Stalin ! Nobody in your life was kind or intelligent enough to explain "Capitalism" or "Trickle Down Economics" (is what you meant). It's not a hard concept to understand. When you loosen the tethers of government restrictions and burdensome taxes you incite the entrepreneurial spirit in ANYBODY, and that's what makes this country the most desired destination in the history of the planet! Obama seeks to destroy that spirit! He admires White European Socialism! The candy ass kind (we, the capitalist USA)have to bail out of disasters and conflicts. He and you regardless of an individuals ability, want equal outcomes for ANYBODY!

I guess you've wasted your life away, but don't you want a better life for your kids? Don't you hope that if your kid works harder or studies harder than another kid, he/she should then be self rewarded for his/her achievements? Perhaps by a palacios home with water gardens instead of quonset hut government housing.

Look, my self guiding ideology lies with individual achievement. That makes a country, or any place/thing stronger. I've spoken with people on you "Side". We want the same things, only your side wants an earner to give it to you.

I don't recall a recovery package Ryan and Obama cO-AUTHORED.

Your screen name ought to be GOOFY.

OK guys.... remember where you are. You're in the Off-Topic area talking Politics.

A recipe for social disaster at times. You've read the disclaimer....... Play nice and take everything with a grain of salt.

One of the easiest way to learn about taxes is play the game "Sim City", it will become very plain how when taxes go up, production goes down.

GENTLEMEN GENTLEMEN!!!!

No needs to throw stones. Anytime someone wants to put on his/hers Chris Matthews hat and provide you with an "unwanted/unwarranted" remark do as i do:

Click on the offending person avatar name
it'll take you to another page where their avatar and sign in name is located.
You'll see 2 drop down menus under their name called "send message" and "user list"
Click on the "user list" and one of the options is "add to ignore list".
Confirm that you want to add and VIOLA! Goodbye Chris Matthews and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. Never to be heard from again!

Then we can go back and have our discussion without the party crashing...

Your very welcome
