Kim just called and my seat is finished!
(Mike's must be more complicated!)
One week from start to finish.
65 degrees in NC this week so ready to try it out.

Well it got there a week from today. I don't know when they started on it. Kim said it's typically ten days. Not like I need it right now. High temp was 28 today.

Haven't checked in here in a while.
I was one that woke up in the middle of the night to send in my order. After some complications I got it in at 04:44 EST on 11/26/12 if this helps anyone guess at their build date.
Well on 12/3 I got an email and my build date is confirmed for 12/14/12. I shipped off my seat on 12/6 and UPS says it should be there 12/13/12. $55 and change to ship from Florida.
I called there earlier today to add something to my order and one of the seat builders answered the phone.
We went over my order and he advised me that the basket weave vinyl can be slick and some customers have said they slide around on the seat some. I really like the looks of the basket weave but this seat is about function first and style/looks second.
Can anyone else comment on their experience with the basket weave?
fammdw I saw your pic of your RDL on your FJR with the basket weave. Can you give me your experience with it?

My build date is the 13th. Sent my seat out last Friday FedEx and it is currently at the FedEx office in Redding CA ready for delivery just 8 miles up the road to RDL. Fed Ex update says it should be delivered today, one day to spare. Now I just need to talk to them because I forgot to put a copy of my build sheet in the box. FedEx will email me when the package is delivered and I will call RDL to make sure my seat is matched up to my order. Now I am worried about the basket weave finish because that is what I ordered in the half-moon style.......I might have to rethink my choice in the basket weave.

I would hope that RDL has a copy of the build sheet with your original online order.
I did not include mine when I shipped my seats. I think they will contact you if they do not have all the information they need for the build.

I am hoping they will call me. I have a couple of emails to them with no response, but I will give them until tomorrow since the seat just arrived there this afternoon as confirmed by FedEx. Now it is just a waiting game to see how fast they can turn it around.......

No problem with sliding around on the seat for me with the basket weave. With it being on a FJR, if I couldn't generate enough power to make me slide around, no one can! LOL :>)

Got my UPS tracking number from RDL today. My seat will be here on 12/18/12. Nice early Christmas present!

I have been calling them all day and because of high call volume they are unable to answer the phone. Seems the deeper they get into this the faster and steeper the customer service drops off.

My seats were delivered to RDL today. I shipped them on the 6th.
My build date is Jan 15th. Hope I dont get charged storage fees !

My build date was 12/7, my seat arrived that day early in the morning, after several emails without answer, I called and Kim answered the phone. She told me that everything is fine, but I have to wait 2 or 2 1/2 weeks before expect delivery. Great weather in South Florida for a ride! I'm missing it!

You guys are lucky that will be able to ride as soon as you get your seats back.
We have to wait till the end of March into April before we can ride here in Ontario (g).
