Or maybe he suffers from RD "Rider Dysfunction". Swiss Doctors have a cure in pill form awaiting EPA, FDA, and NTSB approval.

But, no I don't suffer from that. When the mood or opportunity hits,I'm ready!

Parked my bike in 1998 for 10 years after some ass hat snow bird in a cadillac deliberately ran me off the road in Mesa. Kept it in the garage, but never could quite bring myself to sell it. Finally got it out, reconditioned it and started riding again in June of 08.

Sometimes I put alot of miles on, sometimes not so much. Depends on my mood.

I'm in the same rut, bike has not been out in a month. A lot of reason's, busy working on the house, mother in-law had a stroke and is now living with us (this should be a reason to ride more:), been living on this island for 27 years and know every hole in the road, lost all my ridin buddies, local non HD club is run by holy rollers that can't separate ridin from preaching, various HD based clubs all have the bad ass biker mentality. All just excuses but to be honest the Nomad just does not excite me. Nice bike and I do enjoy a lazy cruize with the wife on board but no thril. Oh well poor me, guess I'll go eat worms and die .

I just picked up my Nomad last August... I changed the pipes (to V&H) and added a TFI processor but never did the air intake. If I had done all three together I suspect I wouldn't be in my rut. It's never run quite right, at least not as good as my 1500 did. Hopefully that'll change tomorrow (today) 'cause the Barons air kit that I bought last fall is finally going on. If all goes well I'll be spending the holiday and day after making up for lost miles.

Hope you find a way out of your rut.

Not sure what I would do if I felt that I didn't want to ride anymore.

I would love to take off for a mainland ride but between airfare, shipping the bike and taking time off work it's a little expensive.

I grew up and lived on an Island for 40 years. A lot easier to get off that one, but after awhile it's limiting.

I had a discussion with a fellow rider the other day about living on a big, private island. He said nobody would have to worry about other idiot drivers. I said the same few miles of road would get really old, really fast. I tend to change up my route quite a bit.

I lived on a pretty large island and I probably covered most of it. Too many people live there now and it's too expensive. The only things I miss are family and the food. Luckily I can cook and family can come and visit me if they like.
