Dam, I'm impressed!
"dshelly" sent me a template to print and make my own air dam.
I have been putting it off for a while since I have large lowers but my wife has been having a hard time dealing with the heat. I finally made the dam using the bottom of a metal baking pan. I put the small factory lowers back on and attached the dam. It works awesome. I never thought such a small mod could make a big difference. Helmet shake is the reason I put the large lowers on but this mod is just as good if not better. And there is more air flow past the bike to blow the engine heat away. Bdog also describes it in this post: http://www.vulcanbagger.com/forums/s...highlight=damn If you want a copy of the template (.pdf file you print), IM me your email. Shout out to dshelly - thanks.
