Thumbs Up Gotta become an enthusiast

After weeks of consideration I decided to sell the Nomad and go with a trike or give up riding. That wasn't gonna happen so bought a trike. See classifieds for details. With all that being said this is the best forum of any I belong to or used regularly. The knowledge that lies in the members on here has literally saved me hundreds of $$$$ if not close to a $1000. Thanks for all the help over the years, Abbo

Which trike? HD, GW, CAN AM? Something entirely different?

Actually Greg I got a 2007 Suzuki C90 Lehman trike from a gentleman in Freeport, Il. Less than 3300 miles on it and immaculate. Everyone in my household is now HAPPY

Congrats on the new ride and on not giving it up. I'd take 3 wheels in the wind over 4 any day

That's great to hear. I am sure you got used to it by the time you rode it home.

Freeport isn't too far from me either...

I haven't ridden one but if I had to go to three wheels I would give a Can-Am a try. But in reality I think my 06 is likely the only bike I will ever be able to afford!

I have owned a Spyder RTS SE5 since 2011 as a backup to my bike (bad back situation).

While I would never tell anyone not to buy one, I would however want to make sure they knew what they were buying first.

Great machines, but they are quirky, and require a different mindset to operate correctly. Far too many riders make too many mistakes in the operation of their Spyders and then complain about them.

Once you know a couple things in how to properly operate them, and understand what to expect regarding the ride experience... you should have a better overall experience with one.
