I know this might be over your head but I can't make Birmingham farther away from my home maybe I could ride around in circles just to add miles

Just joking with you. Did you happen to get any video of the trip?

ride

I love to ride 300 miles in a day and after that the level of enjoyment begins to go down. I know that others think differently but like to cruise and enjoy places that I have never seen.

Riding 300 miles is a good day. It's better than most people can do on their bikes in comfort. It's not the miles it's the time spent enjoying them.

Next time you're headed to Birmingham, shoot me a PM.. nice riding there and it is about 90 minutes for me. I am ready to go have a drink at The Tilted Kilt or Hooters most anytime. Also TS TINKER on here lives up there...

Welcome to the Forum.

I ride to Pittsburgh from Long Island every year about 400 miles and that is more than enough for me in one day. I wish it was a 100 miles closer. I never have back pain in my daily life but a full day on the Nomad and I get a sharp pain in my upper back where I can not turn my head. They say its caused by bad posture while riding but its impossible for me to sit straight up all day. I have tried several seats, bars ect... on four different motorcycles but it always creeps up. So 300 mile day is more than enough for me.
