Just wondering, because if the survey was sent to you unsolicited, I believe whoever "they" are would have a difficult time bringing-up a legal case... but the devil is in the details and the details are what I would like to know about.

I have to wonder like Greg what they are thinking. On the one hand I would assume once they send out the photos to people unsolicited they must know the photos will be shown to others. On the other hand they may be thinking along the line of copy right laws, where the photos can not be reproduced or used without their consent.

The Vision has about 30 gallons of total storage and 115L is also about 30 gallons, so they have about the same amount of storage capacity. The first time I opened a Vision saddlebag door I was VERY surprised at how little the capacity was compared to the door size.

Yeah, but my bike is at least 300lbs lighter.

The shock of the first view of a vision's saddle-bags' storage size is very similar to the RTS Spyder. They put a very small storage space underneath a lot of plastic.

The RTS Spyder has a lot of storage as far as gallon-size (not as much as the Vic XCT, but close) however the storage configuration is horrible. Basically, barely useable -- which I am sure is at the root of the problem with the Vision's storage space.

Cubic-feet (gallons or however it is measured) means nothing for practical storage if it consists of a horizontal space 1/10 of its vertical length; unless you are carrying 2x4's.

Speaking of 2x 4's, in CA it is going to be required that their actual size of 1-1/2 x 3-1/2 be on the label along with all other sizes of lumber.

Gibby check out the only in California thread. It is the discussion resulting from that nonsense. Wait till they find out out there a foot is not really the length of their feet.

Some use SAE/Standard system, some use metric. In california they use the LSD system.

Copied these from the Victory forum.
Those guys over there are giving the new owner of the site a hard time about him updating the site.
They haven't even seen it yet

Throw the Cross Country Tour back end on a Vison and you got it covered! Liquid cooling would be nice. but it's not a deal breaker. I really would like to say I missed my 06 Nomad - but I really don't! It was a good bike - just not a great bike!

I think the EPA will make it necessary to add liquid cooling. Even the BMW boxer engine went LC in 2013.

I had a 2007 Nomad. It was a good bike. The problem is that the competition keep raising the bar. In a 2004 world, it would be a best buy for a cruiser, but as the years wore on, other manufacturers added feature after feature, improved braking and performance without raising prices in the stratosphere. While Kawasaki made improvements in 2009, it wasn't executed well and they haven't done any real improvements since then, while the competition has and their pricing rose to a point that it put the bikes in another class. I wish Kawasaki would be as competitive with the Vulcan line as they are with the Ninja line, but from where I sit, it seems like the line is contracting and may be they are managing it out of existence, instead to concentrate on standards, sport, sport touring and dirt bikes.

Personally, if I ran Kaw I would dump the cruisers all together and stay with what sells for them and what they excel in making... Dirt and Street bikes, and their line of other Kaw recreational products.

Seems the cruiser and touring market is getting more crowded and if a company is going to compete it needs to make a commitment to it.

That would be a conventional wisdom business move and I would agree with it if they don't want to be competitive in that market segment. Suzuki is in the same boat with Yamaha getting there.

And if you look at what happened at Intermot...Seems that way. Nothing in the way of cruisers, not even the next C14 if there will be one. They do have a revised Versys 1000 though. I like it.
