1700 Power Commander 5 installation
Do yourself a favor. Unbolt the tank and rock that baby to the left when you install your shiny new PCV. Their "it is not required to remove the tank" instructions, "but it is helpful" is BS. It's required lol. Specially if you got the model with the ignition adjustment.
My finger tips are done for

Agree completely! I ended up taking my tank off, too. Also, the splice connectors that come with it suck. They end up crimping the wires and could cause a short or open in the circuit. I highly recommend stripping a little of the insulation and soldering the connections.

Mine came with positaps instead of vampire splices. Nothing beats solder and heat shrink, but I'm pretty fond of positaps in small quantities.

Mine came with posi-snaps, but i ended up removing them and having to replace a bit of the wires they were spliced in to. The fact that the posi comes off the wire at a right angle makes it too easy for the spliced in wire to crimp and eventually begin to break the wire it is tapped in to. Actually caused some problems with the PCV. Now everything is repaired and soldered properly, and no more problems.

They do have a stock map, and a map for all of the slipons available. They don't have one for the Freedom Performance duals though. I'm going to have mine tuned, April 3rd
