Cisco Kid was a friend of mine...

I got myself a new 2012 when I retired 3 years ago.
I do enjoy the wing!
Congrats Trip

Just curios as Wings have felt cramped to me (6'2") with the factory pegs but I have never ridden one with hwy pegs....I see you have them. Wing is a great machine.

At my height, I've ridden my friends GW's without a problem. One of my friends is like you, 6'2" and he's always loved his. I'm not saying a GW is for everyone, but from my research over the years, it was obvious to me that a Wing was in my future.

Having the footpegs is a plus, does allow the rider to stretch out a little.

BTW, feel free to view my wing page at wingrider.ws

Nice ride , Congrats. I sat on a newer model but with the mid controls I look like a monkey screwing a football.

I've had three wings. A 1977 GL 1000, Sold her with 88,000 miles. 1983 GL 1100 interstate sold her with 125,000 miles. Last but not least a 1994 GL 1500. Bought her new and sold her with 188,000 miles. Loved each of them. Enjoy your ride she will serve you long and well. :)

I had a 2002 Wing for awhile and loved it. Bought mine from a dealer on ebay and they was selling for the owner (which was the guy that owned the Honda dealership) and they didn't even know what all he had installed on it. When I got there to pick it up they opened the trunk to show me where the CD changer would go but there was one in there, bully for me!!
