Fairing project completed

Picked up a primered somewhat finished fairing off ebay, got it painted and added Kenwood marine stereo and speakers, Long Ride Shield 14" light tint with recurve to finish it off.

Thanks guys, it was a chore to say the least. I caught everyone sleeping late night on eBay, got it at high bid of $71 :) Had to rework the brackets some, the fairing is a no name generic type, had to modify the holes for the speakers and radio openings, sand off their primer and work out some imperfections but overall it's going to do the job on a small budget

jeez 71 bucks was a steal! what speakers did you go with? Might consider a marine cover if you spend any time in the rain.

A fairing is always a great addition to the Nomad, and you certainly can't beat the price you paid.

Just a suggestion - for the three bolts holding the windshield on, replace them with some shorter bolts and chrome or stainless acorn nuts for a cleaner, finished look.

yep, those are what came with it, I'll be changing them when I get windshield trim and a 3 pocket leather pouch.

Below is the link from my auction, for anyone looking keep an eye on Seller's items, the 1500 and 1600 Fairing usually go in the $120 range for the 6x9, the 4 speaker 5 1/4" seem to bring a little more. They ship quick, I had mine in 3 days.
