She really liked the ride apparently and she seems to be more excited about the new steed than I. I love the Voyager, but, I think the new Indians are top notch stuff. Done deal, I am a new Indian Roadmaster owner. I will throw a pic on here when I pick Her up.
Congrats man! It is an amazing motorcycle. You will love it. Be prepared though. It will take you longer to do anything with that RM. People will stop you at lights, gas stations, diners parking lots even hd dealerships, to ask and oggle about the new Indian . Can't wait to see the pics. You will even get compliments from people just walking by that no nothing about motorcycles. An old lady the other day walks by me and says that is a beautiful motorcycle. Those who think they are ugly are in the minority it seems. The transmission gearing and power delivery is much different than the Kawasaki. You are going to love it. My wife always prefers taking the RM anywhere over the cars even the convertible that she loves.
What color did you get?

Checked one out in Sturgis last Dec. Have mixed feelings about them. Still glad I bought the HD.

Not sure what you mean by infotainment. I would think most if not all touring bikes would come with a computer, radio/stereo/bluetooth, and some sort of facility to have a GPS. I thought the roadmaster has these.

The RM has a small screen with bluetooth, radio, and a bunch of info, battery voltage, tpms , time till next oil change ect, and USB tucked away under the dash. No gps. I use a zummo. There 3 power outlets one on the dash.

The HD has a big screen with all of the above but also has a gps built in.

Not sure I'd want a built in GPS. I remember riding with Trosco who has a goldwing with the built in GPS and it lost some functionality if moving or not moving. Ross could elucidate, but it was funky. The other thing is, will the manufacturer keep it up to date? Is it waterproof? What happens if the screen dies or some other problem? The repair is a lot more involved.

I agree. My Zummo is easy to use. I have 2 cars with gps. It is just easier to use my android phone in the car. Also agree on less is more. More things can break. I am totally happy with the radio ect. On the RM.

A frame mounted fairing is always preferable.

OK Gang, Ordered last Thursday. Bike was there on 30th.
They did stage 3 cams, stage1 exhaust, and the big air kit after they uncrated and put her together. Got the drivers backrest and passenger armrest yesterday. We picked her up this morning, 70 miles from home where we bought. Home and unloaded at 2 pm, but 40 MPH winds and heavy snow squalls here all afternoon. Tomorrow is another day huh. Must be Indiana weather. LOL[/URL[/URL. I will stop in periodically here if you all don't mind.:)

The Voyager fairing is nice but I am pretty sure if you rode both back to back and did not know the Indian was mounted to forks you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The RM is solid.

Looks fabulous shep. Did you spend the night in garage staring at it.lol. I still make excuses to go out to my garage just to take a look. Get a nice coat of wax on it soon. Spring is here.
