You guys jealous ? Instead of just taking the boring interstate, I'm meeting up with Brad and Cliff Sunday morning in West Yellowstone. Going thorough the Park and up through Cooke City . Adds another 90 miles and much better riding.

It took 4 hours longer to get to Beaver Utah than I expected today. It wasn't so much the hydration as it was becoming overheated. After leaving Flagstaff the temperatures were 100 degrees to as high as 115. The last several hours I stopped about every 30 miles in a store just to cool off. It seemed to help closing all the vents on the bike to keep some of the road heat and the hot wind from hitting me full blast.Talking with other riders it was even hotter yesterday at 117.

For those crossing the desert just take your time do not get in a hurry. Stop often.

Marie and I made it to Beaver quicker than I've ever done it. Hit temps of 112 for quite a ways crossing through Victorvill Barstow Baker vegas an Mesquite. Riding 80+ for hours helps!

Crap...I thought that area was hot a few weeks ago when it was "only" 100.

Stay cool Brad & Chris.

Rayski is at my house sound asleep. He and Kathy got here around 2:30. Went to the pool and then roasted some corn and Kbobs. Got drunk and off to bed. KSU 7:00 to Dickinson, ND. Next day to Red Lodge. See y'all soon.

Yes 4 more days of slab did not sound like fun. I have spent 15 of the last 20 days either riding or driving on slab.

Kind of glad we trailered because it's really windy in the Gorge. See you soon.

Nice looking truck, Greg. I'd trailer too if I had that truck.
