engine mount gap. am I crazy?

hello all,

I noticed the other day, how much of a gap there was on the front engine mount.

this is a 2011 vaquero with 22,000 miles.
I ASS-ume this is from heat, wear, and big ole' engine leaning on the kickstand.

my question for you folks..

should I replace the rubber mounts, or this is normal and just leave it be?
P>S. there is no abnormal vibration that I can tell by the way.

Driver side (bike is on kickstand)
there is a gap, and the wide "washer" rubber bit is normal

passenger side (still on kickstand)
a gap closer to the center line of the bike and the wide "washer" rubber is crushed.

cheers
chad

On my 2015 Voyager I can only see the outside bolt, washer and rubber seal on each side. Mine look exactly like yours. Someone without the KAMS should chime in soon on how the inside right side looks but my guess is the same as yours.

Kaw spec's will give you an over-tensioned belt, and that's likely the cause of what you see. I recall Garry did all sorts of work to straighten his engine and drive-train back up, but I must confess I've not even noticed if mine is the same.

Most adjust to 10mm deflection (not 5mm)
