Wondering if you could please link where you purchased the exhaust gaskets from? I'm preparing for the same modification.

Thank you

Thanks for the info. I've got about 12k KM's. I probably need to purchase new ones I'm guessing.

I am uncertain about which ones are BEST. LOL
I have come to trust what RACNRAY has to say though. But, at the time I got my Vaquero, everyone was either getting the V&H slip-ons, Cobra Tri-Ovals, or FP True Duals. After looking around, I went with the Cobra slip-ons with Scalloped Tips. I had Cobras on my Nomad and never had an issue and wanted something a little different than most others. Haven't been disappointed; they look and sound great.

Hey guys, another new option is from Steve Tyre over at Smokin Tyre Garage. He built a set of slip ons that are shorties. They sound great and look pretty cool. Here is his website, I'll see if I can find a video of a driveby with them.

Don't those scrape in hard cornering turns
They seem to be hanging down pretty low under the bags.

There are quite a few guys on the Vaquero Owners Facebook page that run them and it doesnt sound like they scrape. Maybe if your riding it like a crotch rocket they might but aggressive riding they dont.

Does he make a set of slipons; one on each side? Love that turn out look and I imagine it sounds great. But I prefer duals and that would be kinda unique. Especially if they don't scrape. I currently have a set of Cobra slipons.

I was in communication with a few members on FB yesterday and this set-up turns your current 2 into 2, into a 2 into 1. They are loud but sound awesome. Here is the link I was provided on FB not sure if you can open it?
