The Kawasaki dealer is also the Harley dealer and I've heard nothing but bad thing about their service department

When the final drive was leaking on my 05 Nomad I took off the rear wheel and took the final drive to the local Kawasaki dealer who replaced the pinion seal.
That was 2009 and it cost $180 in parts and labour if I remember correctly.

you have another kawy dealer close to you. Try them. They always have given me a fair shake on things.

Plus they are closer than Big St. Charles to you.

Well then they should have more than enough experience repairing leaks!

First things first, it ain't over full on oil is it , has anyone recently serviced the rear drive unit ? If not proceed on the advice given. Just thought it was worth throwing out there. Good luck!

I put three seals in mine. Finally gave up on factory and went to Fastenal and got an aftermarket made of a better material. Been good for a year.

Their number is (770) 305-9990.
