Bill (MAC_Mac)

I've been friendly with Bill for years and some of you remember for some of his different posts, or maybe the Northeast Lake George rally. I recently thought of him, as I haven't spoke to him in awhile and figured I'd give him a call. I was sad to find out he passed away about 6 months ago. He was one of the knowledgeable people on the forum about the Nomad and a great mechanic.

Just thought all who knew him should know.

Thanks flavor... I'm also sorry to hear this news. Mac posted here a lot around the time I joined, and I learned a great deal about my Nomad, thanks to him.

Oh shit. He was a character that's for sure. I alway's figured him as a back woodsman, living miles from anyone, and doing whatever he pleased. Here's to him.

I knew he passed away from Gwyn's posts awhile back. Mac and Gwyn shared a room with Cindy and I at the Lake George rally. He was a unique individual for sure.

I remember Mac at Antlers with his tools out tearing into someone else's Nomad to make an adjustment and repair. One great guy... and he could ride!

Bill used to send me raw maple syrup he made from his trees near his house. The thoughtfulness he had was rare. God bless you Bill and I hope to see you on the other side! Thanks for the friendship. Thanks for being genuine.

Although having left the Bagger area and moved on to Indian. I did gather much information from Mac over the years while owning my "RED" my 99 Nomad.

That is what made my visits here over the years refreshing.

Many Thanks

I'm really sorry to hear that Bill has passed away.

Back when our 1600 Nomads were still new and the forum was young, Bill was a breath of fresh air.

The world is a smaller place without him. RIP Bill.

Bob
