2021 Voyager Crash Guard replacement

Hello everyone, I live in Arizona and have removed my lower fairing to allow for increased air flow. I am wondering if the Vaquero bars will fit the Voyager or if there are any after market bars that do not stick out as far..... trying to get rid of the mounting tabs on the original set.

Great question, Watching for responses.
Sagebrush out of Canada makes some Good Vaquero engine guard covers if you ever think you need them later on. I do not love mine, but they are very good for what you get. It is a tough job to make them fit the funky shape they need to be for what they charge. Good Product though. I would buy again.

Running at +40 here in Alberta with the lowers open and have no problem with the heat. Yes it gets warm but the Ivanization seems to do its stuff.
Sorry running 2020 VOYAGER.

Thanks Doc... Removal of the lowers was also for looks and a change of pace. Getting Ivanized is next on the list. Looking forward to the increased performance.

Thanks for your service.

I ran my Voyager without lowers during the summer, just unbolted the stock crash bars and left the fairing bits on them. Top bolt was difficult to remove but got it with a swivel ratchet wrench 14 mm. I bought Vaquero engine guards and they bolt on directly but do require longer bolts in 3 locations.
This does result in a higher reading on the temperature gauge because the lowers actually direct more air through the radiator but the engine never overheated, same setup as the nomad. Much more airflow on my legs than with just the lowers vents open.

Engine Guards

Thanks, that is what I needed to know. Appreciate the extra info on removal of the OEM guards and bolts.
