5) clean throttle body, air filter, plugs, etc,etc........
I am very disappointed, skeeter. I always take Nico's word as gospel. This has shattered all of my faith in Sir Nico. ;) Having said that, I agree wholeheartedly with your post.

We have a 05 that now has 8000 miles. I JUST figured the gas mileage today and it is 39MPG on this tank. I drove to work every day (30 mile round trip) and I am pretty easy on it. When we got it the mileage was not this good either.

Newbie with POOR mileage

Hi again and thanks to all who responded, just a update, i have installed a K&N air filter, done the marble trick, made sure tires are at correct pressure, ran injector cleaner in tank, cleaned the throttle body, put new plugs in, and have been easy (as possible) on the throttle.
With all the rain we have been getting here i havent had much riding time, but hopefully that will change this weekend, and i can see how my mileage has been affected if at all. I will post again after the weekend.
Happy Fathers Day!
