Time to start planning again !!!
Well with the first ever "held in Canada" rally now behind us and a huge success, it's time to look forward to the National Rally next summer in Colorado. It's going to be a good one with a lot of options open to whomever attends. As Trip has stated in his posts, there are no planned rides and it's been left to those attending to make their own daily ride plans for the area.
I'd expect that given the possible number of attendees { 90 rooms set aside for us at the "base camp/hotel"} it would be hard to accommodate everyone for planned rides. Large groups can have it's challenges at any time. So it'll be great to get together maybe with people you don't really know and spend the day with them. Then maybe a bunch of "old" friends can gather for a ride the next day. Whatever !!! It's all going to be up to you for sure. Then there's the "wind up dinner" that is always a hoot. I'm not sure if the base hotel is accommodating us or it's elsewhere but I can almost guarantee you you'll have a good time. The "planners" will make sure the food is great. So get to blocking off the week of June 25, 26 & 27, 2013 on your calender, so you can make it. There are already plans and routes to get there being made and I'm sure we can all join up somewhere along the way if we want to. I will probably be leaving here with hopefully a few from the Fraser Vally/ Vancouver area { Elvis ?} and possibly hooking up with Kris/netnorski along the way, somewhere. So if you haven't been to a rally especially !! make the plan to attend. There's lots of time to "fit it into" your summer vacations and plans. I believe it'll be the biggest rally for us yet. Plus you might even get to see "Trip" cry like a little school girl, in shear enjoyment of having created such a wonderful website like the VBA has and continues to turn out to be. I don't want to miss that for anything... So get to planning !!

Hey guys, finally some activity on our own board...
Colorado is one of our favorite states and Rocky Mountain NP is a park we've never been to. Very tempting road trip idea for sure. We'll see what the future holds... |

Booked a room already. Still unsure of the route we'll take from here Rick, but I'm sure there will be at least a couple other Albertans, right? Timewise might have to run straight down to Sheridan. Early yet though.

Glad to see some more action on here too Elvis. It takes the regional leader to get things roll'in I guess. That Salmon run might be worth doing this Sunday.
Sorry Al I've been real busy these days. Mom's in the hospital, dad has tests to have done. All in the Cariboo, and I have been back and forth. Think'in of doing this salmon run Elvis is talking about. I have a breakfast meeting Sunday at 9:00 Am but not sure what time that'll be done.

Booked a room for Hammer and I already. Not sure of my route down as I may be doing a ride with the Volusia Riders the previous week in Idaho, Montana and Washington. I might just head on to Colorado from wherever the VR ride finishes up.

Give me a call Dave if you have time. I'm back on WCB for a while, maybe for good I don't know. If so I couldn't pack the truck fast enough to get to the 108. I have the townhouse up for sale as of this weekend. I want to be ready to go when I can go. take care
