Anyone seen a crash bar drink holder?

Several years ago, I participated in a 9/11 memorial ride (the sig pic was taken just before we started).

I noticed that one of the participating bikes had a drink holder attached to the crash bars for his hard bags (Harley). While driving, he reached down behind his leg, pulled up a squirt bottle, drank, and put it back. In my mind, it worked like a rifle sheath.

I didn't have bag crash bars at the time. Now I do and am interested in finding out more. Google is only bringing up the handlebar mounted systems.

Any leads?

I also like the Harley road king ones, but have never seen any for Nomads.

Yesterday I put a mt bike drink cage on my bike up by the windshield. It worked so slick I can't believe I didn't figure it out 10 years ago when I got my first Nomad.

I'll take a pic of it later today. I figured it out yesterday for the Custer ride.

Are the rear bars 1 1/4" like the front crash bars? Couldn't you just look for a drink holder with those measurements and not for the Nomad itself? Now I'm curious as I have had the thought of putting a holder for the lady there.
I would just want a drink with a removable cover to keep my bug intake down.

Ive seen them on Harley's as well, it shouldn't be to hard to adapt one to a Nomad.

That's what I did last year for the Mesquite Rally. Just bought a $10 bicycle water bottle holder and mounted it to the rear crash bar. Worked great, although I didn't really like the look, so I took it off after the rally. Have a cruiser caddy now.

This one is the best one I have seen yet. It is called the Liquid Caddy. You can find them on http://www.liquidcaddy.com/. I got mine at Bass Pro for $17.00 but you can also find them on E-Bay. I actually had to modify mine as I accidentally kicked it and broke the mount. Since I did my little mod, it works like new and it holds the big 20oz bottles, water bottles, energy drinks, and my favorite, the tall gatorade bottles with the trist open tops. Those you can open with your mouth. I keep the bottles and reuse them. Here are some pictures of mine with the little mod I did.

I admit it is a little hard to get the boot off to hold the drink -- well, actually, it's harder to get the boot back ON when you're finished -- but what are you going to do? You need your hands to text message on the Blackberry.

(Dan Lund's probably twitching by now)

Riverroadgear.com has something like I think you are talking about under luggage, then more bags. Ph custom also has saddlebag crash bar bags with a pocket you could maybe put a bottle in. I have heard if you talk to them they will custom make stuff for you, maybe they could put a bottle holder on the crash bar chaps.
Just a couple places to check. Good Luck! Bruce

Another good idea I have seen on long hauls is a camelback. It keeps the liquid cool or hot and the drink tube can be held right on your shoulder.

I can't beat the $5 deal, but if you want something that looks great on the bike and does a great job not getting in the way, this is what you need to get.
