Horsepower and Torque
Has anyone that has done the big three (pipes, intake, processor) put their bike on a dino tuner? What kind of horsepower and torque do these bikes produce? I can't seem to find any information on this.

Somebody has done it before but it may have been on the Delphi board, It did show a gain in both HP and torque. I think it was about 6-7 hp gain.

I think the stock 1500's are about 64 hp and the 1600's are a little higher...maybe 70?
Anyone that buys a Nomad for it's HP is in for a disappointment. Great bikes but not powerful..even with the air, pipes, and processer.

ok. I'm on my second Nomad and I'm not expect a race bike. I was just wondering what the numbers were.

Not a Nomad but I had an '04 1600 Classic. Same engine, though. With mods, dyno'd at 71+ and 97+.

the 1500 Fi nomad (mine) is around 58-60 Horse in stock mode.
Mine has V&H baggers, hypercharger, coasters and TFi. with the TFi turned off I got 60 horse. after 3 adjustment runs I got 63 horsepower. I know the 1600 is slightly more but dont have exact numbers. The 1500 engine puts out almost as much HP as the 2 litre at the crankshaft, but the 90 degree bends in the drive shaft robs almost 30% of that. if you want to really get it on, you need to convert to chain drive |

Horsepower and Torque
According to the Ma Kaw service manual the 1600's are rated at 49kW which converts to 66.62 PS (Metric Horsepower) or 65.71 US horsepower at 4700 RPM.
Torque is listed as 127 N-m or 93.66 ft-lb at 2700 RPM

Mine is an 07 1600 with caddman on right side, baggers and PCIII. My HP and torque is close to that of Master Mac. Can't find sheet for exact numbers.

I did mine utah. I was told the HP of stock was like low to mid 60's but it was not taken at the rear wheel, so it's even less on a dyno. I did the V+h with ultimates, chucksters plate with the K&N, coastered, and the power commander. after my dyno I got 76 or 78 on HP at the wheel, which is a marked improvement over the 50 something of stock. I think my torque was at 96. he set it up for my "cruising" along the lakeshore. so that 40 to 65 MPH range i get 43ish mpg as well.
