New Member in Ft. Lauderdale

Hey All,

I've known about this forum for a while but just finally got around to joining KawaNOW. I've owned my 2000 Nomad since late 2002 with 6K miles on it. It started off pretty much stock and I rode it that way for a few years and then got the itch to do some mods.

This is a terrific bike. I Love it. I now have over 88,770 miles and have done quite a few mods (in my garage at home) to suit my needs and wants. hey JoBear. I have talked with you on two seperate occassions out on rides, once at Ozello Trail and just this past Biketoberfest at the Kawa tent. Great to have you on the board.

It's funny you should mention the meetups. I caught wind of them on the Delphi Vulcan forum. That led me here looking for more information on the meetups. I did not find that info, but I did take the time to join KawaNOW while I was here.

LOL ... Biketoberfest was a blast. I'm still telling people how I was just sitting there at Biktoberfest, minding my own business, when three guys walked up and one started commenting "That must be the famous JoBear bike". I was totally caught off guard.
