The Fastest Nomad

I've seen all kind of performance mods on just about every V twin out there except a Nomad. Has anyone done anything beyond intake & exhaust + Electronics? ::)8-)

I've often wondered if porting-polishing & shaving the heads would accomplish anything.

Shaving my head made me feel faster. Not as much drag from hair.

I have the only Purpleish Black Mica Nomad I have seen (stock-2000). Since I never see another Nomad in front of mine, I reckon that mine is the fastest.

Ours used to be all black but they went so fast that the wind rushing over the sides wore the paint down to the silver underneath

So now you all know the secret of why the Black & Silver's are the fastest ;)

Once you go really fast, the black comes off of the side of the tank and saddlebags to reveal the silver.
